HCS2049 Series – Radome Moisture Meter
There are various approaches to inspect the dryness of a damaged area. One way in particular is using a moisture meter.
The HCS2049 Moisture meter indicates moisture levels in aircraft radomes. A patented dielectric radio frequency power loss absorption method is used to determine moisture levels.
Two available models are available:
- HCS2049-01 (120V battery)
- HCS2049-02 (230V battery)
The HCS2049 Series Radome Moisture Meter consists of a direct reading scale for instantaneous reading of Good, Fair, Poor and Unacceptable radome moisture levels. The spring loaded contact points allow nondestructive testing of irregular radome surfaces. Also, a separate electrode gun permits testing in remote areas if needed. Other features include:
- Measures 2.5 to 3.0 inches in depth
- Rechargeable Ni-Cad batteries (2 options available)
